Det er International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences (IADAS) som arrangerer konkurransen som skal kåre årets beste nettsider.
Listen over de nominerte ble offentliggjort onsdag. Her finner vi blant andre Amazon.com, Internet Movie Database, The Onion og Salon, men også noen europeiske blant de nominerte i de i alt 22 kategoriene.
David Bowie og Esther Dyson
Mange deler ut Internett-priser, men Webby Awards er den STORE prisen. Arrangørene har invitert 3.000 kjendiser til begivenheten, og i juryene sitter blant andre David Bowie, filmregissøren Francis Ford Coppola, mediaguruen Esther Dyson og Dilbert-forfatteren Scott Adams.
