Venneforbedringer
En kjekk nyhet er at man nå kan legge til venner fra vennelisten sin på 3DS og Wii U. Av andre vennenyheter kan man nå også få varsler om spillvenner som logger seg på.
Det blir også lettere å finne bortkomne kontrollere ved å få dem til å vibrere, og man kan også bruke Switch Pro Controller med kabel.
Ting som derimot ikke er på plass, er skylagring og støtte for strømmetjenester som Netflix og YouTube.
